This one is pretty self-explanatory. Rock Creek Park is now a live minefield. In fact, those of us living in Northwest DC might as well be sleeping on top of the DMZ. Maybe some anarchist with access to LIVE AMMUNITION instead of bricks decided to blow up the DC establishment, and thereby fix the financial markets, because really, who needs money when there isn’t a government to force capitalism down your throat?

For more information about this developing story, CNN is deliciously vague. http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/10/01/dc.grenade.ap/index.html. Also, I hear sirens in Logan Circle.

So, if you’re walking somewhere and suddenly hear an ominous click as you put your foot down, remember that when you pick your foot up, you’re going to explode. Tough luck. My advice to everyone? Seek shelter, preferably of the fallout variety.
